Scott Lyles was born and raised in Helotes, Texas. Along with his two older brothers and dad, every weekend of deer season was spent chasing whitetail deer on their ranch in Ozona, Texas. Each of the brothers began hunting before they could walk and have continued to do so ever since. Scott’s true passion is hunting and the experiences that happen through hunting. The camaraderie and friendship that accompanies most campsites is what makes him addicted to this sport. Scott is currently in school at Texas A&M University and proud to be a member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2012.
Scott is incredibly humbled and thankful to be associated with WWIAF. His family hosted their first WWIA hunt in December of 2011 and became hooked on this organizations mission. Scott, as well as his family, firmly believe that the outdoors can provide treatment for these heroes that nothing else in the world can offer.
