Chris Migliaro

I was born and raised in the great state of Connecticut.  I joined the service in 2002 when I entered the United States Military Academy at West Point and began the journey of my life.  Upon graduation I was commissioned as a 2LT in the Infantry and was sent to Ft. Benning, GA for an endless year of schools.  Upon the completion of Ranger School I was assigned to 2nd Battalion 12th Infantry Regiment, where I would spend the next 5 years of my life at between Ft. Carson, CO, Baghdad, Iraq and Kunar, Afghanistan.  It was in Colorado that my love for hunting began.  I had always been an outdoors guy, but it wasn’t until I returned home after being wounded that I got into hunting.  My wife bought me my first compound bow as a birthday gift thinking it would get me out of the house and back to my normal self.  Well, she was right because now I spend every free moment I have either hunting, shooting, or fishing.  There is something about being in the woods, just you and mother nature, it’s so unpredictable, yet so relaxing.

My awards include: Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, 2 x Purple Heart, 2 x Army Commendation Medal, Ranger Tab, CIB, EIB, Airborne Wings, Air Assault Wings, and Pathfinder badge
