Mary Lou Reisdorf
I was born in Cattaraugus, NY. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Salem Collage and a Masters equivalent from Fredonia State University. I retired in 2001 with 35 years of teaching experience in Maryland, Japan, Germany, Georgia and New York. I loved teaching all grades from K through 8th.
My husband Jim and I live in Macedon, NY, have a daughter, son-in law and 3 grandchildren. We often do recreational activities with them at our Bear Hill Farm and Hunt Club.
I had been working with Jim in organizing the 2010 and 2011 WWIA Upstate NY Bird Hunt. After having a deep discussion with the wife of a Wounded Warrior in 2011, I realized that the wives need to be recognized and honored for their care-giving and sacrifices.
We hosted our first Upstate NY Bird Hunt/Couples Retreat in 2012. We will continue to host this event.
