I was born, raised and still reside just outside of Cleveland, Ohio. Growing up on the shores of Lake Erie, and still living within a few miles of it, I have spent countless hours on this great lake. I enjoy Lake Erie and the many things this country has to offer because of the brave men & women who have served and made it possible by defending our country. I have never served, but like most folks I have many past and current family members who have. To honor all whom have served and those who continue to do so, I wanted to do something to show my gratitude. Getting involved with Wounded Warriors in Action has allowed me in a small way to accomplish that. Meeting the HEROES and Associates during our Lake Erie fishing events has been a truly rewarding and humbling experience for me. One never knows what or how life’s events will shape or mold you into the person you will become. Every last HERO I’ve met is taking on their challenge head first with eyes wide open. Everyone I have met involved with WWIA, be it HERO or Associate, has a special quality and honor that I have not experienced before. Their actions have and continue to speak more than words ever could.
My goal is to be an ambassador for the WWIA and help bring awareness to this wonderful organization so that other deserving HEROES can benefit from all the WWIA has to offer.
