SUMMARY:11th Annual Bayfield Cast & Blast
DESCRIPTION:Heroes\, will fly into Duluth\, MN and drive an hour to a big woods paradise with plenty of fish to catch and whitetail deer to hunt in Northern Wisconsin. Lodging is a comfortable log cabin nestled in the Northwoods. We will begin with a meet and greet at the lodge so we can all get to know each other and get the camaraderie started. Muskie\, Walleye\, Smallmouth and Largemouth bass abound in these waters and the woods are teaming with giant white tailed bucks.  If walking is a struggle\, we have access to private lands with ATV’s. 3 days of hunting and fishing.  Depending on flight times\, we’ll try to sneak in some other outdoor fun.  Breakfasts will be a treat at the Delta Diner\, a refurbished box car\, with some of the best food on earth and as featured on Travel Channel and Food Network\, they will have your fuel tank full for a full day excursion in the woods or on the water. Your guides are no slouches.  Day one you will be fishing with either Jeff Evans\, who’s been on the cover of Bassmaster Magazine and is the go to guide for TV personality Babe Winkleman\, or Josh Teigen.  Either guide will put you on giant fish.  Followed by 2 days of archery whitetail deer hunting.  Both locations are areas of private land\, with food plots\, that have a history of producing huge bucks.

DESCRIPTION:Annual Upstate New York Bird Hunt and Couples Retreat- in Memory of James Reisdorf\, WWIA Associate.  The Upstate New York Bird Hunt and Couples Retreat is unique to WWIA because we not only honor our wounded Heroes\, but also include their spouse. We believe that not only is the wounded Warrior a Hero\, the spouse that is supporting them daily is as well. The Heroes and their wives will start their weekend off Friday. They arrive and will be taken to their hotel. After they have dropped their things off they will join the Host family for a relaxed dinner. Saturday is when the real fun begins! The men will go to Bear Hill Hunt Club for some guided Pheasant hunting. The women will enjoy a relaxing wine tour in the area. Saturday evening everyone meets back at Bear Hill Hunt Club for a game dinner with supporters\, family and friends. Sunday the men will again go hunting while the women enjoy a brunch and spa time. The event will wrap up with a quiet dinner Sunday evening.

DESCRIPTION:Come enjoy a long weekend of Black Bear hunting\, Bass fishing and relaxation in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire in a nice new rustic cabin located on Ruggles Mountain near the historic Ruggles Mine. The cabin is located on the hunting property. Warriors will eat home cooked meals every night and enjoy the opportunity to sit around a nice camp fire and be “offgrid” for a few days. Each morning\, after a hot breakfast the Warriors will hunt baited bear stands. On Saturday\, the Warriors will have the option of fishing in one of the local lakes for small mouth and large mouth bass or keep hunting for black bear.

DESCRIPTION:Black Bear Hunt over established bait sites in the northwoods of Wisconsin! Camp Hackett is where the Foundation first began\, it is a magical place not recommended for novice hunters. The property is approximately 20 miles outside of Phillips Wisconsin. Surrounded by other large parcels of property and adjoining an additional 570 acres of state property\, Camp Hackett is a wildlife paradise which has been carefully managed to produce trophy animals. Heroes should expect the weather and terrain to be challenging — temperatures may range from the mid 50’s to below freezing. Expect rain or snow and windy conditions. The property is home to whitetail deer\, wolves\, bear\, beaver\, fox\, ruffed grouse and just about every fur bearer known to North America. Camp Hackett is not a destination\, it is an adventure.
