SUMMARY:Inaugural NY Bass Fishing and Trout on a Fly
DESCRIPTION:Join Purple Heart Excursions for a weekend of fun. You’ll lodge in a quaint lakeside cottage and we’ll feed you a great breakfast every morning and pack you a bag lunch daily for your excursions. The first day will have you learning or brushing up on the skill of fly tying with members of Trout Unlimited\, Catherine Creek Chapter. After tying those dainty morsels\, we’ll take you fly fishing for 3 to 12 pound rainbow trout at the Finger Lakes Fishing Preserve. The next day will find you seated on a shiny sleek bass boat casting for Largemouth Bass in a mini tournament-style format with members of the Crystal City Bassmasters. If you’re really lucky you might even tag into one of those 40” Muskies lurking in the lake. After a day of fishing\, play a game of cornhole on the back lawn or sit around the fire pit and just relax. Lake fishing will be from boats or from the shore\, based on angler’s preference. Shotguns\, bows and crossbows are all permitted. You will stay in our new fully appointed cabin on the property.  There is no commute to the hunting areas.  Home cooked southern meals and all the amenities.  As an amputee myself\, our deer stands are easily accessed by stairs and we duck hunt either standing in flooded timber or in spacious blinds. Red Oak Plantation is located 8 miles East of Marianna\, Arkansas a short 45 minute drive from the MS River Bridge in Memphis\, TN.
