The property is home to whitetail deer\, wolves\, bear\, beaver\, fox\, ruffed grouse and just about every fur bearer known to North America. Camp Hackett is not a destination\, it is an adventure.

DESCRIPTION:Annual Upstate New York Bird Hunt and Couples Retreat- in Memory of James Reisdorf\, WWIA Associate.  The Upstate New York Bird Hunt and Couples Retreat is unique to WWIA because we not only honor our wounded Heroes\, but also include their spouse. We believe that not only is the wounded Warrior a Hero\, the spouse that is supporting them daily is as well. The Heroes and their wives will start their weekend off Friday. They arrive and will be taken to their hotel. After they have dropped their things off they will join the Host family for a relaxed dinner. Saturday is when the real fun begins! The men will go to Bear Hill Hunt Club for some guided Pheasant hunting. The women will enjoy a relaxing wine tour in the area. Saturday evening everyone meets back at Bear Hill Hunt Club for a game dinner with supporters\, family and friends. Sunday the men will again go hunting while the women enjoy a brunch and spa time. The event will wrap up with a quiet dinner Sunday evening.

SUMMARY:2nd Annual MI Patriots Duck and Goose Hunt
DESCRIPTION:Come enjoy two days of waterfowl hunting from floating duck blinds and laydown blinds on Saginaw Bay.  These hunts will be guided by true experts in the world of waterfowl.  You’ll be able to carve your own decoy out of cork (if you choose)\, and hopefully shoot ducks over them on the last day’s hunt. Practice shooting clays before the hunts kick off.  You will also enjoy a 1/2 day of walleye fishing between hunts. Eat good food\, relax and enjoy the hospitality of like minded patriots\, veterans and outdoorsmen in Michigan’s backwoods.

SUMMARY:11th Annual Bayfield Cast & Blast
DESCRIPTION:Heroes\, will fly into Duluth\, MN and drive an hour to a big woods paradise with plenty of fish to catch and whitetail deer to hunt in Northern Wisconsin. Lodging is a comfortable log cabin nestled in the Northwoods. We will begin with a meet and greet at the lodge so we can all get to know each other and get the camaraderie started. Muskie\, Walleye\, Smallmouth and Largemouth bass abound in these waters and the woods are teaming with giant white tailed bucks.  If walking is a struggle\, we have access to private lands with ATV’s. 3 days of hunting and fishing.  Depending on flight times\, we’ll try to sneak in some other outdoor fun.  Breakfasts will be a treat at the Delta Diner\, a refurbished box car\, with some of the best food on earth and as featured on Travel Channel and Food Network\, they will have your fuel tank full for a full day excursion in the woods or on the water. Your guides are no slouches.  Day one you will be fishing with either Jeff Evans\, who’s been on the cover of Bassmaster Magazine and is the go to guide for TV personality Babe Winkleman\, or Josh Teigen.  Either guide will put you on giant fish.  Followed by 2 days of archery whitetail deer hunting.  Both locations are areas of private land\, with food plots\, that have a history of producing huge bucks.

DESCRIPTION:Bow hunt for trophy whitetail\, wing shooting for ruffed grouse\, goose hunt and fish for monster musky in the northwoods of Wisconsin!  Camp Hackett is where the Foundation first began\, it is a magical place not recommended for novice hunters.  The property is approximately 20 miles outside of Phillips Wisconsin.  Surrounded by other large parcels of property and adjoining an additional 570 acres of state property\, Camp Hackett is a wildlife paradise which has been carefully managed to produce trophy animals.  Heroes should expect the weather and terrain to be challenging — temperatures may range from the mid 50’s to below freezing.  Expect rain or snow and windy conditions.  The property is home to whitetail deer\, wolves\, bear\, beaver\, fox\, ruffed grouse and just about every fur bearer known to North America.  Camp Hackett is not a destination\, it is an adventure.

SUMMARY:10th Annual Western PA Guided Archery Deer Hunt
DESCRIPTION:Guided archery deer hunting on 170 acres of private land that includes 50 acres of crops to attract deer and 120 acres of woods that provide great cover and bedding areas. Arrival will be on Thursday.  Hunters can settle in and tour the property and then have dinner at the lodge. Hunting will take place on Friday and Saturday during the day; evenings will be spent gathering and relaxing at the lodge.  Multiple tree stands and ground blinds will be available depending on hunter’s preference\, all within easy walking distance or ATV accessible. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 14th Annual WWIA MoKan Ducks N’ Bucks Chapter event. This action packed event includes Missouri Firearms Whitetail hunt\, Kansas Archery Whitetail hunt\, Kansas and Missouri duck hunting and Missouri Trapping (Trapping College).  Mo-Kan is good for all skill levels. The 10 lucky Heroes picked for this hunt will stay near the famous Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge. Join us for a world class duck and deer hunting adventure surrounded by great people! Your mornings will begin with an early morning duck hunt or deer hunt. We will scout NW MO and NE Kansas to find the best waterfowling experience available.   We have so many great supporters helping make this event great.  You will chase Northwest Missouri’s big corn-fed deer\, during the rut\, with a rifle. You will be provided with a MO firearms any-deer (Buck) permit and a bonus antlerless firearm permit.  We like to keep you hunting/in action on this event. Deer rifles will be available for use if you chose not to bring your own firearm on this event. Waterfowl shotguns will also be available for you and all your 12 gauge ammunition will be furnished. Two lucky Heroes will be selected during this event to learn the challenging sport of trapping at the MoKan (Trapping College).  The trapping portion will be hands on in the field\, as well as live demonstrations by very experienced trappers.  The trapping portion participants must be in reasonably good shape and able to hike over some rough terrain for 3 days while checking and setting traps.  A very unique opportunity to learn trapping and fur handling.
