Culinary Arts
In 2017, WWIA formed a Culinary Arts Committee to examine the demands and potential for the initiative. Our Heroes and their significant others were very eager to learn more about wild game and fish preparation and presentation in support of healthy lifestyles. In 2018, we initiated the program with two Culinary Arts events, the Galveston Couples Fishing and Culinary Event and the Minnesota Caregivers Culinary Experience. Feedback from these events was positive and the Galveston Couples Fishing and Culinary Event is held annually. We look for opportunities to expand and involve more Heroes and their families into this program.
