North Dakota Pot Hole Duck Hunt
September 27, 2024 - October 1, 2024
You will have the privilege of hunting at Prairie View Camp, est. in 2006.
Early waterfowl starts late September into early October and usually produces a lot of young local ducks; Teal, Gadwall, Widgeon, Shovelers and Mallards. There is also a chance to see Pintail, Ringneck, and Redheads. We hunt these ducks in the wetlands and fields depending on where the ducks are working/feeding. We will need to be flexible and adaptable. The local Walleye fishing can also be very good but is heavily dependent on water levels and we may be able to get some Walleye fishing in as well.
Camp specialty meals are Prime Rib Duck and Bacon Wrapped Duck Breast Skewers!
Waterfowl hunting has inspired me to get up early and see the great outdoors and all the wonders that nature provides. Come join us for a good hunt and fellowship.
