What is the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)?
The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the annual fundraising drive that provides an opportunity for Federal, postal, and military employees to donate to eligible non-profit organizations. The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.
CFC is the world’s largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with almost 200 CFC campaigns throughout the country and overseas raising millions of dollars each year. Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season will support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world.
WWIA is proud to be a participating charity in the CFC. The generous and thoughtful pledges and donations we receive allow us to continue our mission of supporting the men and women wounded in combat who were awarded the Purple Heart medal. WWIA supports these phenomenal Heroes by providing them with the opportunity to participate in world-class outdoor sporting activities at no cost to them. We do this to recognize and honor their sacrifice, encourage independence and connections with communities, and promote healing and wellness through camaraderie and a shared passion for the outdoors.
What are the advantages of donating through the CFC?
1) There is now one centralized giving portal where all donors can go to make a pledge.
2) Federal employees can now pledge volunteer hours in addition to monetary donations and
3) Federal retirees can continue to support charitable causes through the CFC by making a donation from their Federal annuity.
