California State Employee Campaign- Our Promise
Access Cal Employee Connect which is where you view your monthly paycheck and other employee services at https://connect.sco.ca.gov/.
Click on your “User Profile” and click on the button that says “Donate now to your favorite nonprofit(s)” and you will be directed to the Our Promise donation site. If you are an existing donor, you must first log into Cal Employee Connect to access the Our Promise donation site to cancel or modify your donation.
Illinois Champaign County CCC
Signing up for the SECA Program is simple. After choosing which charity(ies) you want to donate to, complete the online Pledge Now form at https://give.illinoiscomptroller.gov/index.cfm. There, you will enter your name and address, how much you would like deducted each pay period, and for how long. SECA will send an email confirming your pledge.
You can also fill out a paper pledge form and return it to your agency’s SECA Ambassador/Liaison.
Illinois- Chicago Combined Charities Campaign
Combined Charities Campaign is a program that allows employees to give at work to the charities they support. To donate visit https://combinedcharitiescampaign.org/give-at-work.html and choose your employer to log in.
Illinois State Employee Combined Appeal
State and University Employees Combined Appeal (SECA) is an annual program that provides all employees the opportunity to donate to the charitable cause of their choice through payroll deduction. It is administered by the Illinois Office of Comptroller (IOC).

Illinois- University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Campus Charitable Fund Drive
Choose to have your gift automatically deducted from your paycheck each pay period. Deductions will begin on January 1 of the following year. If you already have your contribution deducted from your paycheck and you do not opt out, it will automatically roll over for this year’s campaign. The MSECCA Online Donation Service will allow Maine state employees, Finance Authority of Maine (FAME) employees, and Maine Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) employees, to make a charitable donation, either through payroll deduction, by cash/check or with a credit card. Michigan State Employee Campaign

Missouri State Employee Charitable Campaign (MSECC)

The Missouri State Employees Charitable Campaign (MSECC) is an annual unified fundraising effort that provides state employees with the opportunity to make donations to their favorite charitable organizations through the convenience of payroll deduction or one-time gifts. The MSECC is organized and administered by the Office of Administration. Financial management is provided by Central Bank of Jefferson City.
During the annual campaign, state employees have the opportunity to make contributions to the charity or charities of their choice via an online pledge card at https://ess.mo.gov/ (or a paper version requested from their agency coordinator). Through payroll deductions, employees may divide the annual contribution into smaller amounts which are deducted each pay period during the coming calendar year. While payroll deduction is the preferred method, contributions may also be made by check or money order. The pledge card filled out authorizing payroll deductions will be in effect until the end of the year or until revoked by you in writing, or you can opt in to a “continuous pledge” option where your donation is rolled over each year until revoked by you in writing.
RETIREES
House Bill 210 allows state retirees to authorize contributions to the Missouri State Employees Charitable Campaign via payroll deduction from their monthly retirement benefit payments.
Retiring state employees may continue their pledged contributions and tradition of giving into retirement. Retirees will be able to contribute to their charity(s) of choice through the convenience and ease of monthly deductions from their retirement benefits.

North Carolina SECC

The principal aim of the State Employees Combined Campaign is to strengthen and sustain North Carolina communities and their citizens. The campaign assures state employees and retirees continuous opportunity to support charitable organizations that are accountable, fiscally sound, and committed to improving the quality of life in our state, nation and the world.
As the official workplace giving campaign for state employees, the SECC operates under regulations codified in Title 1, Chapter 35 of the NC Administrative Code. North Carolina General Statutes authorize the SECC to offer payroll deduction as an option for state employees contributing to one or more of the charitable organizations approved to participate in the annual campaign. The State Employees Combined Campaign provides state employees and retirees an opportunity and choice in directing their contributions to charitable organizations through a uniform and systematic process.

New Jersey Employees Charitable Campaign

Thanks to legislation that created the New Jersey Employees Charitable Campaign in 1985, employees of state agencies, universities, county government, municipalities and school districts throughout New Jersey enjoy the benefit of giving to many of their favorite charities through an annual workplace giving campaign that features the convenience of payroll deduction.

Public Employee Charitable Campaigns are the only way in which public employees can support charities from their workplace. The legislation was enacted to “provide a convenient channel through which employees of local units of government may support the efforts of charitable fund-raising organizations and charitable agencies while minimizing disruption to the workplace and cost to the taxpayers that fund-raising may entail.”

New York State Employee Federated Appeal (SEFA)
SEFA is the solicitation of State employees in their workplaces on behalf of approved charities, authorized through NY State Law and Regulations and supported by labor and management. Through SEFA, state employees can support charities of their choice through a single pledge, easily paid through payroll deduction or by check.

NYC Gives (CMC)

NYC Gives (formerly known as the Combined Municipal Campaign) offers City employees an opportunity to contribute, through convenient payroll deductions, to NYC Gives participating charitable organizations that provide urgently needed services to local, state, national, and international communities. Since inception, City employees have generously contributed to a myriad of participating non-profit charitable organizations that invest in causes that are meaningful to employees.
Participation is easy. To enroll, modify, or cancel your contribution, log into NYCAPS Employee Self-Service. Upon log in, go to Payroll and Compensation > Deduction Information > NYC Gives.
Ohio State Combine Charitable Campaign
Pledge to Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation with Code 25122. WWIA is part of the America’s Best Charities Federation.
The Combined Charitable Campaign (CCC) is an annual initiative that encourages State of Ohio employees to donate to one or more of 1,100 local, regional, and international charitable organizations. CCC consolidates many charitable campaigns into one, asking State of Ohio employees to voluntarily donate through payroll deductions or a one-time gift.
Online pledging:
The CCC offers an online giving system, ePledge, which allows donors to make donations to the CCC without using paper pledge forms. The online system is a secure and efficient method of viewing and making contributions to the campaign. You may choose to make a payroll deduction or a one-time donation via credit card or electronic check. A minimum donation of $26 is required for credit card payments and electronic checks. It’s fast and easy!
You can access the ePledge site in several ways:
- Through myOhio.gov (visit the State News and Events page and click on the myCCC Click to Donate tile).
- Through online pledging notifications you will receive via your work email address. These emails are safe to open and provide important campaign information. Emails will be sent to employees. Emails will continue throughout the campaign. Once you complete your pledge online, you will no longer receive CCC email messages.
You also may log in to ePledge to affirm that you have made a paper pledge or want to opt out of future messaging.
The online system will walk you through the process and allow you to donate by payroll deduction, credit card, or electronic check. If you are unsure how to proceed once accessing the link, step-by-step directions are available at Ohio.gov/OhioCCC. After your pledge is complete, you will receive an email confirmation, which can be printed and saved.
Paper pledge form:
While online giving is an efficient and safe method of making donations to the campaign, paper pledge forms and fillable electronic pledge forms also are available from agency campaign coordinators or online at Ohio.gov/OhioCCC.
Cash/Check donations:
If you wish to make a one-time check or cash donation, or do not have a work email address, you should complete a paper pledge form. Paper pledge forms may be obtained from and turned in to your agency campaign coordinator. Please note the online option is only for pledging by payroll deduction, credit card, and electronic check.
Pennsylvania SECA

You can support your favorite SECA charities through flexible giving options, including payroll deductions spread over a year, or a one-time gift by check, money order, or payroll deduction. You can also dedicate your donation to someone special and gain special recognition as a leadership giver.

- Funds and organizations that you have given to or have bookmarked will show on the left. You can choose one of those, or use the search bar on the right to search for a new organization.
- Choose the organization and choose donate.
- Choose Continue with recurring.
- Choose Payroll under donation method.
- Enter a per-payroll amount.
- Select I’ll cover processing costs if you would like to pay for the processing costs.
- Under Privacy, select whether or not you would like to share your contact information with the organization.

Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC)
Pledge to Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation with CVC Code 200557. WWIA is part of the America’s Best Charities Federation.
There are three ways you can donate to your favorite charities, through Payroll Deduction, Credit Card, and Direct Giving.
1. When donating via payroll deduction, you pledge to give a yearly amount that will be divided and deducted over 24 paychecks starting in January.
2. For credit card donations, employees will supply their credit card information through a third-party vendor, securely. Credit card information is not stored on any government devices or databases. No fees are associated with credit card transactions for donors. This system is the property of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Only persons authorized shall be allowed access to this system. Those permitted access shall use this system ONLY for purposes for which they have been authorized. ALL access and usage on this system may be monitored, recorded, and subject to audit. ANY unauthorized access, use, or abuse of this system or the information contained therein shall be reported to appropriate authorities for investigation and prosecution to the fullest extent of the law. 3. Employees have the option to contribute directly to an approved charity and report their donations to the campaign. Contributions can be made in the form of money, items such as toys or clothes, or through volunteer time. Charities will issue a donation receipt as proof of your contribution. This receipt can be uploaded using this reporting function. Once reported, your donation will be included in both your agency’s donation totals and the overall campaign total.
Washington- King County Employee Giving Program
