WHAT:  2023 WWIA HundredX National Fundraiser  

This new fundraising opportunity will take the place of the WWIA Sweepstakes that we conducted in previous years and has some distinct advantages that we are excited to share with you.

WHEN:  April 17th – May 16th, 2023

This fundraiser will only run for a period of one month, so it’s important to garner as much interest and support as possible prior to the kickoff on April 17th. We want to take full advantage of that 30-day window!

WHO:  WWIA & HundredX

The 2023 WWIA HundredX Fundraiser is a unique and innovative way for us to raise money on both the local and national level. This is a tested and vetted fundraiser that our own Team Erie (Lake Erie Trophy Walleye Event) has used the past two years to successfully raise over $10,000 for their events. We are partnering with HundredX for this campaign, a mission-based data and insights company that has raised over $15 million dollars for over 1000 different causes!

We are asking our Event Hosts, our WWIA Guides, and our Fundraising Partners to help lead this effort. One exciting part of this fundraiser is that when you mobilize your local or extended network, those supporters can designate that the donations they earn will be restricted/directed to a specific event or into the general WWIA donation fund. This can help with your event fundraising in a BIG way!

HOW IT WORKS:  This is a simple, yet innovative process, so please watch the video below to get a quick synopsis of how this fundraising opportunity works. 

Here’s how it can benefit you as a Host with your own event fundraising:

Each survey, which is only about 1-minute long will earn a $2.00 donation. Each participant is eligible to take up to 75 surveys. That means that for roughly an hour and a half of a persons time (75 surveys x 1 minute= 1 hour and 15 minutes), they can earn a $150.00 donation!  Think of it like this, the more people you get to participate, the more fundraising dollars you can earn!

Potential Fundraising Dollars for Your Event:

10 people completing 75 surveys each= $1,500
20 people completing 75 surveys each= $3,000
50 people completing 75 surveys each= $7,500

Just imagine….if 334 people fully participate in this fundraising campaign, that would be $50,100 raised on behalf of WWIA and our Purple Heart Heroes! Incredible! That’s completely possible with this being a national fundraising opportunity! 
(75 surveys @ $2.00 earned per survey = $150.00 per participant x 334 participants =$50,100)

The best part of this is that it requires no upfront costs. The only effort required of people is a little bit of their time and attention, pushing a few buttons on their phone or computer, and giving their opinions. They can do this anytime within the 30-day fundraiser period (April 17th through May 16th), from the convenience of their home and at the time of their choosing. It’s a simple and smart way to bring in fundraising dollars for the Foundation and for your event, with very little effort required. The only requirement and rule is that each participant must be 18 years of age or older and living within the United States of America.

*Please note that although each participant is eligible to complete up to 75 surveys, they aren’t obligated to complete all 75. Clearly we want full participation as much as possible, but we understand life gets busy and things happen, so whatever number of surveys they are able to complete, their designated event will still earn $2.00 per survey. (Ex: 25 surveys completed x $2.00=$50.00)

WHO IS HUNDREX?

HundredX is a mission-based data and insights company focused on multiplying positive outcomes for people, business, and society. They offer information and consumer opinions/feedback to companies and businesses from the surveys that are completed. Companies and businesses will then use this valuable information and feedback to better serve their customers needs. The information shared with companies/businesses is strictly the accumulated data from the survey questions, it does not contain any personal or user information whatsoever.

CEO Rob Pace founded HundredX to pioneer a new model for strategy development while also doing more good for the world. This novel approach captures authentic customer feedback via the power of listening to inform business strategy and performance, delivering today’s leaders “strategy on demand.”

IS IT SAFE AND SECURE? WILL PARTICIPANTS INFORMATION BE SHARED OR SOLD?

Yes, this process is completely safe and secure. HundredX is fully committed to maintaining your confidential information. For all feedback providers, they DO NOT share any personal information with external parties, send advertisements or offers, or ask you to purchase any product. They also do not share your personal information (e.g., name and/or email address) with the cause that you are supporting or the organization through which you are participating without your consent, which you can elect to provide (or withhold) at sign-up. In fact, once the fundraising campaign has completed, they delete and purge their database of any user information. 

HOW WILL  DONATION DOLLARS BE RESTRICTED OR DIRECTED TO A PARTICULAR EVENT? 

When participants sign up and log in, they will be be directed to a designated WWIA Fundraising home page on the HundredX website. From there, they will see a list of States where WWIA Events currently take place. They will have the option to choose “General Donation” or if they prefer to choose a particular event (“Camp Hackett Events”) or a certain fundraising event (Vermont Chapter Fundraiser), for their donations to be restricted/directed to, they may click on the appropriate state where their designated event is held and then a drop down will show the list of WWIA events within that state. For example: if they click on Wisconsin, the drop-down would list the following events:

  • Camp Hackett Events
  • Eagle River Muskie Chal-Lunge
  • Bayfield Cast & Blast
  • Wisconsin Cast & Blast
  • Wisconsin Woodturning

Participants would then click on the event of their choice and any donations earned from their completed surveys would be restricted or directed toward their chosen event. It’s that simple!

WILL WE HAVE RESOURCES AND INFORMATION TO SHARE WITH OUR NETWORK OF SUPPORTERS

Absolutely! We will be reaching out to all of you in the next two weeks to share more information with you. We will also be providing you with informational flyers, email templates, and graphics that you can print out or share with your friends and followers on social media. We will also ensure these resources are available for you to download and share with others as needed. In addition, we will have a dedicated web page similar to this one to help answer questions or provide further information for supporters or potential participants. We, of course will also be available to answer any additional questions you may have and to support you as needed through this process.

WHAT CAN WE DO IN THE MEANTIME?

Start talking it up to those in your circle, letting others know about what’s coming in mid-April. Come up with your own plan of attack! Start figuring out the most effective way for you to spread the word and reach out to those in your local and extended network. Once we provide you with email templates, flyers, graphics, and more, send those out to everyone in your network, share and post them locally and on social media, and get the word out!
