6th Annual Stuff Squeak’s Jeep Fundraiser
Please join us in offering gratitude and thanks to everyone who came out and participated in the 6th Annual Stuff Squeak’s Jeep Fundraising event, held August 2nd at Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio. This annual event is two-fold, as attendees are encouraged to “Stuff” Squeak’s Jeep (1976 CJ 7) with as many coats, boots, hats, gloves and sleeping bags as possible to be donated to The Sub Zero Mission located in Painesville, Ohio. It also features a raffle basket auction and a 50/50 with those proceeds being generously donated to WWIA. This year also introduced a Car Crush (crushing out of service Sheriff vehicles), a RTI Ramp Competition, Duck Races, and so much more. Special thanks to K9 Heroes 4 Heroes for their participation and service. They graciously provide service dogs to Veterans and First Responders at no charge. Shout out to returning guest Miss Raylin’s Lemonade Stand. Raylin is an 11-year-old entrepreneur and philanthropist who thoughtfully raises money for Honoring Our Heroes, a local organization that assists our Veterans with various needs. The Stuff Squeak’s Jeep event does a remarkable job of bringing together so many patriotic local community members and businesses in support of America’s military, Veterans, and First Responders. ![]()
This stellar fundraising event began in 2020 and is held annually to honor the memory of James “Squeak” Thompson (1948-2020). James was a proud 6-year Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran and Purple Heart Recipient who had a tremendous heart for helping his fellow veterans. We are humbled and grateful to share that a total of $3,075 was raised from this special event! AMAZING! Funds received from this special fundraiser will go toward the local Wounded Warriors In Action Team Erie Walleye Fishing event, which has been proudly serving, honoring, and healing America’s combat-wounded Veterans for the past 14 years! ![]()
