Gratitude & Thanks to J. Pechauer Custom Cues & Olhausen Billiards
Today is National Purple Heart Day — and it’s also Thankful Thursday! 
Please join us in honoring our incredible partners and friends at J. Pechauer Custom Cues and Olhausen Billiards for their outstanding support of WWIA and our nation’s Purple Heart Heroes. Through their collective efforts in hosting the 2024 Veterans Day “Purple for a Purpose” Fundraiser and the 2025 “Support Our Heroes” Fundraiser, these generous supporters have graciously donated over $20,000 to help advance our mission. 
Incredible! These funds will directly support the Wounded Warriors In Action Eagle River Muskie Chal-Lunge, an annual event that will celebrate its 11th year this September, as they continue to bring healing, connection, and community to our combat-wounded Veterans in beautiful Eagle River, Wisconsin.
At WWIA’s recent Safety Symposium at Camp Hackett, we had the honor of welcoming Jake and Riley Pechauer of J. Pechauer Custom Cues, Scott Samuels, Host of the stellar Wounded Warriors in Action Eagle River Muskie Chal-Lunge, and Dan Pudlo, fishing guide and ardent supporter of the Eagle River event. Together, they presented a commemorative check to WWIA Founder and CEO, John McDaniel, shared in great food and fellowship, and played pool with the wonderful J. Pechauer limited-edition Purpleheart wood Heroes cue they meticulously designed and crafted on the gorgeous Blackhawk Heroes pool table that was developed, donated, and installed at Camp Hackett by Olhausen Billiards. An exceptional combination in honor of our Heroes by two titans in the billiards industry! 
As we recognize Purple Heart Day and honor those who earned the award through their tremendous service and sacrifice; we say THANK YOU to our phenomenal friends, partners, and supporters who make it possible through their generosity, talents, time, and thoughtfulness, to help us bring Honor, Connection, and Healing to our combat-wounded Veterans.
