Remembering VJ Day
Today, we honor the 80th anniversary of Victory over Japan Day (VJ Day)—a historic moment when World War II came to a close and freedom prevailed around the globe.
On this day, we pause to remember the extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the Greatest Generation. Their bravery secured victory and shaped the freedoms we cherish today.
At Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation, we carry forward that legacy of service and sacrifice by standing beside our Nation’s Purple Heart Heroes. We remain committed to honoring all who have served and sacrificed for our country, past and present.
Let us never forget the price of freedom—and may we always live in a way that honors those who secured it.
