Inaugural NY Bass Fishing and Trout on a Fly
Join Purple Heart Excursions for a weekend of fun. You’ll lodge in a quaint lakeside cottage and we’ll feed you a great breakfast every morning and pack you a bag lunch daily for your excursions. The first day will have you learning or brushing up on the skill of fly tying with members of Trout Unlimited, Catherine Creek Chapter. After tying those dainty morsels, we’ll take you fly fishing for 3 to 12 pound rainbow trout at the Finger Lakes Fishing Preserve. The next day will find you seated on a shiny sleek bass boat casting for Largemouth Bass in a mini tournament-style format with members of the Crystal City Bassmasters. If you’re really lucky you might even tag into one of those 40” Muskies lurking in the lake. After a day of fishing, play a game of cornhole on the back lawn or sit around the fire pit and just relax. Come and enjoy a great weekend with us, have fun, meet new friends, and leave wanting to come back again.

2nd Annual NY/PA Trout on a Fly and Bass Fishing Event

The first day will have you learning or brushing up on your fly fishing and nymph fishing skills at Mill Creek in Pennsylvania with experienced fly fisherman to show you the ropes. The next day will find you seated on a shiny sleek bass boat casting for Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass and Perch on Lamoka Lake in New York. After a great day of fishing, play a game of cornhole on the back lawn or sit around the fire pit and just relax.
