Denis Spizuoco

Denis Spizuoco serves as WWIA's Major Gift's Officer and has over 30 years of development experience in higher education and veterans service organizations. In addition to his 14 years in the major gift, planned giving and athletic development offices at his alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Denis was the Vice President of Development and Alumni Affairs at Valley Forge Military Academy and College in Wayne, Pa. After VFMA&C Denis went on to serve our nation's injured service men and women, assisting to change and save lives for 11 years as a principal gifts and planned giving officer at Wounded Warrior Project.

Denis is from Mineola, Long Island and moved to Philly to attend Penn and then spent 40 years living and working in Philadelphia and South Jersey before joining Wounded Warrior Project in Florida in 2013.

Denis is honored to be on the WWIA team and is passionate about supporting Purple Heart heroes and is excited about the opportunity to establish new relationships and enhance existing ones for WWIA.

Denis has 2 children and 2 grandchildren and enjoys being with them in NJ as often as possible. Other interests are golf and most sports, movies and travel.
