I am truly honored to be the first outsider and Vietnam Era Purple Heart recipient to participate in the Wounded Warrior in Action project. The instant friendship with John, “Mr. Raconteur Extraordinaire” is something I will treasure for the rest of my life. The opportunity to share this experience with the OIF/OEF Purple Heart recipients was an amazing and humbling experience. Thank you from the bottom of my Purple Heart!
