Edwin, I was excited to have the opportunity to fish with you for the Healing Heroes Tour, until the night before when my son was killed by a truck while riding his bike. After that, I was anxious for a distraction. That night I called Corrina and asked her if I could still do the event. Hindsight, I should have never put you in that situation, but you have no idea the impact it had on our family. In essence, it was the perfect distraction that we needed. Your tour, doing this had an impact on many wounded veterans and I’m certain most all of them have thanked you over and over. I want to thank you as well, but also want to thank you for being there for my family during one of our darkest hours, you brought us on your boat and treated us with so much compassion and respect. To follow up with me after your win at Waddington was priceless. I’m sure Joey was there with you and very happy he was. Edwin, continue to do what you do. Our family wished you the best! God speed!
