John and Dawn, I just wanted to start out by saying thank you! The amount of hard work, dedication by the WWIA and especially John and Dawn Koenig has been humbling. Leaving for this trip, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had the same feelings I do whenever I leave the house. Anxiety and apprehension, usually keep me from going anywhere. Once I met John and Dawn all that went away. This trip has truly touched me. I never thought I was capable of trusting people again, but you two have helped change that. From hanging out in the bunkhouse to the event, every aspect of this trip has helped heal me. Even as I’m writing this, I’m already thinking about coming back. Of all the “Therapies” I’ve been through this has been the only one to truly help me. So once again, THANK YOU!! Anything I can do to help the WWIA to keep going, consider it done! Can’t say thank you enough. You are amazing people. Can’t wait to get back!!
