Andrew and I found each other after the war. For that reason, I did not have the same preparations some of the other wives had on what to expect from your husband upon their return. I dove in head first to a broken relationship with a devastated man. This is the first time that someone has welcomed me as a true warrior wife because of all that comes with it and not solely on whether or not I dealt with the deployment.
