Event Name: Great Creek Turkey Hunt
Another outstanding WWIA event in the books, what a great time it was. All the Heroes and volunteers had an excellent time. Great bonding experiences for all those involved. I always love seeing the effect that hunting, and fishing has on our Purple Heart recipients that we serve. From when you first meet the Heroes until you say goodbye at the end of the event, you really see this amazing transformation. It really makes what I do as an Associate and Guide so rewarding. I truly believe in the Foundation’s mission and I am so thankful to get to be a part of it.
