I was recently on an event for WWIA. I went to a 4-day workshop on wood turning in Wisconsin. I had so much fun at this event because I have never done anything like it before. Learning how to make art out of a chuck of fire wood, is awesome. I was pleased with the group of teachers I interacted with. They had so much patients with this newbie. Also, they made it so easy to be there and welcoming. Everyone that I encountered with in the community was amazing. The other vets were good to be around and made it a great week. So, in all I had so much fun at my first WWIA event and hope to do many more events in the future. In closing I needed a get away from my everyday life and clear my head. This trip was just that.
