Event Name: Eagle River Muskie Chal-Lunge
It is very hard to express the gratitude (honor) I feel for the invite/experience to the WWIA. Why? Being a Vietnam Veteran, wounded in battle and coming home to insults from our fellow Americans was very depressing. Since 2000, thirty-five years after serving our country, it is truly heartwarming to have been part of this event. It was not the fishing perse but the camaraderie with the other veterans and the guides as well as the hospitality of the Eagle River, WI community that will make this event memorable for me! Thank you does not say enough, but it seems that it truly sums up my feelings. Carry on with your mission, you have earned my respect.
