I would like to thank WWIA for sponsoring the fishing and turkey hunt in Pennsylvania. I would like to extend my appreciation for the hospitality of Dan Bevevino, Frank Condino and their family and friends that welcomed us with open arms. Besides the experience, I want to thank Dan’s whole family who helped us and appreciated us and treated us like family. I am very appreciative. The event experience was very fun, and I found an extended family outside of the military that appreciates us. The event itself was a blast, meeting my fellow wounded veterans that I can connect with and relate with makes everything easier. The fishing was a blast because I learned a lot and it gave me a new experience in life that I will continue doing. I feel relief and a lack of stress. Hunting is something you can relate to your military experience. All the adrenaline, excitement and awareness of everything around you makes it easy to forget my stressful situation. Overall, this was an exciting and fun experience. Once again, thank you WWIA and Dan Bevevino for sponsoring this event for us.
