What an experience! To come into camp not knowing what to expect and have it turn out to be something so special as this past weekend has been, is unheard of. John and Jake keep things real and to the point, it makes you feel loke family. You are welcome in like they have known you forever. The same can be said for the community, which helped make the event so special. From Travis and Chad DeLaskey to the double John’s who took us out chasing the great giant muskie. To add to the fun the deer stands were ready to go, and we had plenty of snacks and reading material. To say support from the community is great would be an understatement. Mike, Bob, and Scott along with others ensured we had plenty to eat and their support of us as veterans and WWIA is a very special thing. I can’t say thank you enough. The hunt is not always about the kill and this weekend was a perfect example.
