This was my first WWIA event and it was definitely one for the books. It was my week of many firsts. First time in North Dakota and first-time pheasant hunting as well. I am truly humbled by the organization’s professionalism, communication and especially the support of all those involved. Jeremy was very helpful answering all our questions prior to travel and all throughout the weekend while participating. Roy was the perfect Host and liaison for this trip as he knew everyone which made everything run smooth. The property owners, guides and all who supported were such an amazing group of people. I am grateful to have met so many who truly care about us wounded vets. I am very interested in becoming a part of the WWIA family as a helper in any capacity I can, even if it starts as a fundraiser for the CFC as we did that in the Marines. God Bless this program and thank you for the trip of a lifetime.
