Words cannot even describe how grateful I am to be here this weekend. I was in Afghanistan from 2003-2004, in my Unit, 2nd Battalion 22 Infantry our motto is “Deeds not Words”. What you all do goes above and beyond that. Over the years I have watched as America has fallen apart. At times I have asked myself, “I did this for what?” After this experience I know and understand why we do what we do. In service to others.
