This is my first time with WWIA, and I am amazed. I wasn’t sure that I would ever be able to hunt or fish again after my injuries. However, after being able to drive again after my brain injury and many surgeries, I have taken the chance on the opportunity of a lifetime. I now have my confidence back to get out and enjoy life again and try the things I used to love doing. The team in Ashtabula, OH are by far the best I’ve been around since I retired and recovered. My hope is to do more adventures now and meet some more amazing veterans, young and old (Vietnam and more). It meant so much to not just be around other Guld War veterans but especially with other Purple Heart Veterans that came before us. Laying the groundwork for us. I am so grateful for those veterans and the wonderful people that served us this week. Thanks to the great sponsors and guides that worked so hard for us so we could all share this time. I thank God for WWIA and everyone who makes this happen. All my love, prayers and gratitude!
