This event was awesome. I totally love the WWIA, they facilitate an environment and time where I can spend time with like-minded people. The world will never truly understand how different we are after combat. Your life changes in such a way that you can’t really connect with people anymore. It feels like you versus the world. But events like this allow you to finally relax and enjoy the companionship we have been missing for so long. While enjoying activities that we may never get to do due to our disabilities, finances or even the fear of spending time with strangers who just don’t know. This fishing trip was an experience I will always remember. Thank you for YOUR service.
