It has been a great privilege to spend a weekend in the company of such outstanding and generous people. Meeting and getting to know my fellow participants was a great time, but the true reward for me has been the restoration and reinforcement of my confidence with the American people manifested in the fine men of the Napier Hunt Club and all the others who make this event happen. The kindness, generosity, and genuineness of all involved have truly humbled me. Several times during my time here I have found myself reflecting that even if I never took a shot here, the real reward is time spent with some of the most down to earth, patriotic, and humble men I’ve met in my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing us with this opportunity, welcoming us into your home and for facilitating this amazing event. Participating has been an honor, a major boost for my mental health, and I will be able to provide nutritious game meat for my family. Please know how much you and all of this work is appreciated. What you are doing is more important to us and more impactful than you may know. My sincere thanks and respect.
