The last few days have been filled with amazing experiences. The community support has been second to none and the food, what can I say five-star quality for sure. Events like this help to maintain some semblance of sanity in the struggles that many of us face on a daily basis. There is nothing in the world today that is more refreshing for a struggling veteran than spending time outdoors with fellow veterans who have faced many of the same challenges in life. The bird hunting was both awesome and challenging. Flyfishing and catching huge rainbow trout was insane and something that I will probably never experience again. I have so many people like Sandy and Bob to thank for running such a great event. Thank you so much for the experience.
