My sincere appreciation for everything WWIA and the fine people of NY State did for us from the get-go. Being in the outdoors is truly recovery for me. I often find myself wondering if I made a difference since my war ended in 2014. Events like this remind me that I have not been forgotten. I came here depressed about a recent bankruptcy and a pending divorce. This event pulled me out of my depressive state and gave me hope. Jake, you were non-stop smiles from the start and I appreciate leaving here with a new friend in PA. With great honor and gratitude.
