I first learned of the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation from talking with Warriors from the 10th Mountain Division at Ft. Drum, NY. We were discussing hunting and fishing in the St. Lawrence, New York area and when I said that I enjoyed fishing, the WWIA foundation was recommended to me. I looked into it online and read the mission statement and said to myself this sounds great. Being a Vietnam veteran warrior, we never had any opportunities like what was being offered. I can say this, the opportunity I just experienced fulfilled the entire mission, great folks, hospitality, and community. Colin was my guide and the entire staff and community was awesome. This will always be remembered as an honor to be with all of you on the Muskie Chal-Lunge. Great job to all.
