To try to put into words what this weekend did for me is almost impossible. The moment that I arrived at the camp (it was late due to flight delays), I was greeted by Jake and Mike who were still up. Also, another warrior was still awake. We talked and my mind was immediately at ease. Throughout the weekend, the events that took place were amazing. I have never gone goose hunting and sitting in the blind the first morning getting to know everyone was great. The people that open up their homes and land for us to use I will be forever grateful too. To be able to talk with other warriors that have gone through similar things allowed me to open up to them like I cannot do back home. They truly understand what I have gone through. I will be forever grateful for this weekend and for WWIA.
