This week has been an amazing experience with an amazing group of fellas. The opportunity to hunt is an opportunity to find reprieve from the dark recesses of my mind. I am able to be grounded. I am also able to reason with many of my struggles. Turkey hunting is something I could never do by myself. So I am extremely grateful for the chance that WWIA gave me to meet new friends and create an opportunity to find that reprieve. These fellas were genuinely some of the kindest, hardworking people I have met. I am glad to be in their company and can’t wait to carry on the friendship with them. Thank you again for listening and thank you for reminding me that I am not alone.
