While in the process of recovering from a tornado touching down on their house, Todd and Dawn Bohm pulled off an extraordinary warrior event. The kindness and generosity shown by the Hosts, Tony Kopchinski, Mark, Mike and so many other others that helped put on this event was absolutely remarkable and a testament to their strength and resilience. Even though Warriors came from nearly every part of the US, the camaraderie was absolutely incredible. Jon and myself were injured in the same firefight over 17 years ago and hadn’t seen each other since. We helped each other fill in the missing pieces of that day and compared notes on life since then. Nate and Gerry were rack mates in basic 20+ years ago. Despite keeping in contact, this was their first time seeing each other since. Then there was Brody who is the turkey hunting prodigy, words cannot express how bad this group of guys coming together meant to all of us. Calling it “special” would be an injustice. Thank you, WWIA, Mrs. Corrina Bea, John McDaniel, The Bohms, Tony, Mike, Mark, and everyone that put this together. Just outstanding!
