I recently had the incredible opportunity to participate in an event in Wisconsin. After 20 years in the Marine Corps, one of the things I miss most is the camaraderie and brotherhood of military service. This trip provided an opportunity to reconnect with fellow veterans, enjoy the outdoors, and step away from everyday stresses. I was fortunate enough to harvest a deer, but the true highlight was the amazing people, shared stories, and friendships. I’m incredibly grateful to WWIA, the hosts, guides , and volunteers who made this experience possible. It was more than just a hunt, it was a chance to reconnect, recharge, and create lasting memories. Thank you for everything you do for our veterans.
