This was my first WWIA event, and actually the first out of state veterans’ event ever. The WWIA, reps, sponsors, and volunteers were all terrific and incredibly hospitable and accommodating. I was able to harvest a nine-point buck on the first hunt of the event and was incredibly happy to have gotten the opportunity! The food, drinks, sweets, hunting, and fishing provided by the team and community all led to an unbelievable experience and was a nice distraction from the grind of everyday life. Thank you all so much!
