Stuff Squeaks Jeep

December 23rd, 2025

Join us for a wonderful time of fellowship and fun in memory of James “Squeak” Thompson, and in support of two great causes!

About This Event

This annual event encourages attendees to “Stuff” Squeak’s Jeep with as much non-perishable food/cans as possible for donation to the Geneva Food Pantry. A raffle basket auction and a 50/50 will be held with those proceeds generously donated to WWIA.

This event is held annually to honor the memory of James “Squeak” Thompson, a 6-year Marine Corp Vietnam Veteran and Purple Heart Recipient who had a tremendous heart for helping his fellow veterans. It’s an awesome time of fellowship and fun for the whole family!

Our Mission isSaving Lives!

WWIA devotes all of its energy and resources to supporting the men and women wounded in combat who were awarded the Purple Heart Medal. We serve all Purple Heart Heroes, regardless of era of conflict.

In 2024, WWIA held 40 events across 35 states. Through opportunities like whitetail deer hunting in Tennessee, halibut fishing in Alaska, and bear hunting in Wisconsin, these Heroes experience a wide variety of opportunities that fulfill lifelong dreams.

WWIA provided real services to 166 Purple Heart recipients this past year through therapeutic and adaptive sports like hunting and fishing, helping our wounded veterans recover mentally, physically, and spiritually from their wartime experiences.

We’re committed to healing the lives of America’s veterans and reducing veteran suicide. For 19 years, we’ve been changing and saving lives! We have over 1,500 testimonials from Heroes who can attest that what we’re doing works!

Testimonials From Our Wounded Warriors

I truly appreciate all you've done for me and my brothers with this memorable experience. Thank you for all the planning, coordination, and most importantly your genuine appreciation for our military. I did not join the service expecting anything in return. I joined for my love of country, God, corp, and the opportunities that I have been granted by the great USA. I live by a phrase "I am grateful…

Thank you for the great week of shooting and catching. The fellowship and brotherhood was second to none. The best event I've been to so far. Thanks to everyone who helped with the food, fellowship, and ducks.

When I signed up for this event, I had only a small idea of what to expect. This event from start to finish has been absolutely exceptional and far exceeded my expectations. The escort in was one of the most honorable things I have experienced. The love, compassion, and care we received from the communities between the two states was amazing. During this trip, I killed my first duck, and…

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the fine men and women who contributed their time and effort to making this event possible. It is easy in this day and age to become jaded and to feel isolated in society as it exists today. Having had the privilege to meet and enjoy the hospitality and kindness of the host of the OBX event and the patriotic citizens of…

What a wonderful event! Thank you to everyone that took part in the planning and execution. There has been so much love shown to all of us. I so enjoyed sitting with Mr. Winslow and chatting about past hunts and trips while learning new waterfowling techniques. It was like sitting with my father and grandfather at the same time. Being able to spend time with each of the volunteers and talking…
