Changing the lives of America’s Purple Heart Heroes

WWIA transforms the lives of our nation’s combat-wounded Purple Heart Veterans by providing therapeutic and adaptive outdoor sporting adventures across North America that provide healing for their body, mind, and spirit. We empower these Warriors to rediscover purpose, build lasting bonds, and feel honored, supported, and connected once again.

Wounded Warriors Testimonials

Thank you for this amazing weekend. The hospitality we received this weekend was one of the best gifts I could ever ask for. A trip like this is some of the best healing for veterans like me. The relationships made this weekend are ones that will last a lifetime. Thank you!

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support you have shown us. It’s not how much we harvest, but rather the fact that so many still care! The fact that people still love, care and support us keeps us going. I understand it takes a lot of time and energy to hold an event, so thank you.

To know that there are still Americans that honestly respect and care for this country’s veterans is very comforting. The WWIA group has made me a believer in growth and healing with their motto Honor, Connect, Heal. It does me good being able to connect with my brothers and good people. Thanks for this wonderful opportunity to heal and grow as a person. This organization has gone above and beyond….

First off, thank you for the opportunity of a lifetime to fellowship, hunt, and be a part of this great organization. The people, guides and participants on this event have been outstanding from day one. From the hospitality, food, and the bonding. I called the event, screen porch therapy, changing lives through the outdoors. When vets get together, we just chat like we all knew each other prior to the…

This is my second event through WWIA, and like the first, it was amazing. It’s not often I am able to meet a new group of people and immediately feel a connection, as if I’ve known them for years. The Guide Allen was informative and knowledgeable and kept us all informed throughout the process. This was important as it made me more comfortable in a situation I am not often…

This is my first time with WWIA, and I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I am a kind of a stick to myself kind of guy, so I was a little nervous about it. I was met with open arms and made to feel comfortable from day one. The welcoming ceremony and ride in were amazing. It was great to see patriotism is still alive and well. Everyone went…
